The 2014 Resilience Festival is fast approaching and we have a number of amazing events lined up for the week, including a number of lead up events before the festival week. All of these awesome events are made possible by the hard work of many different individuals, and we are looking to support event coordinators with a number of volunteer positions. To learn more about the festival events, visit http://www.guelphresiliencefestival.ca.
Volunteering for the festival is a great way to get involved with Transition Guelph! If you haven’t been out to any TG events in the past, volunteering can connect you with like-minded people in Guelph who share the same interests and passions as you. If you’re planning on attending an event, think about volunteering – it’s a great way to meet new people and learn more about topics that interest you. We will be providing training sessions for all volunteers that sign up and will also be hosting a volunteer appreciation night after the festival is finished. We also encourage people to sign up with friends – each event has at least two slots available.
We have a convenient sign up form that shows you exactly what we are looking for in the way of volunteers, and what’s involved with each position. Click here to view the signup form and find a time slot that works best for you!
If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas around volunteering for the festival, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Kelly Baker at firstname.lastname@example.org.
