May 21, 2014 @ 10:00 am - June 8, 2014 @ 3:00 pm

ReMediate brings together artist Christina Kingsbury, poet Anna Bowen and Pollination Guelph to create a collaborative textile and audio installation in the form of a 1,000 square foot quilt for the Eastview Landfill site. The quilt, made from recycled paper embedded with native seeds, will be sewn together entirely on site and become a living garden and habitat for threatened pollinators. Anna Bowen’s poetry documents the layered history of the landfill site and the making of the quilt. ReMediate is presented as a gesture of care that makes room for the storied relationship between the human and non-human.
