Backyard Sharing is a co-operative program that connects people who have unused yard space with others who wish to garden but don’t have the space to do so. Owners and gardeners can then meet and establish their own arrangements concerning conditions of use of the space, times, and sharing of the produce. It’s a win-win situation: gardeners can garden, owners can enjoy the beauty of growing things in their yard and the knowledge that the space is being put to good use, and both can share in the bounty. If you have a garden and want to share it with someone, or if you are looking for a space to garden, Backyard Sharing is for you!
Backyard Sharing is non-profit, 100% volunteer-organized and run. If you have more questions about this project, please get in touch with Mike Barber for details.
