Transition Streets is a way to get to know your neighbours and grow stronger connections by learning together. It includes a workbook that enables you to take a number of practical, effective, money and energy-saving steps together with friends, family or neighbours.
How it Works
- Meet with a group of neighbours and friends to learn about sustainable living. Our practical workbook guides your group to make easy changes to how you use energy, water, food, packaging and transport. It’s easier to make changes with the support of your friends.
How to Get Started
Transition Guelph has partnered with eMERGE Guelph to facilitate Transition Streets in the city of Guelph. If you are interested in finding a group in your neighbourhood, starting your own Transition Streets meeting, or volunteering your time to help other’s facilitate their meetings, visit http://emergeguelph.ca/pathways/transition-streets/ to learn more or email firstname.lastname@example.org at eMERGE for more details.
