Jasmine Mah, a student at the University of Waterloo is working on her undergraduate thesis on the topic of composting toilets and is looking for people to interview. Do you have experience with composting toilets? She would love to hear from you!

Do you own or have you used a composting toilet? Are you interested in participating in an exciting study? My name is Jasmine Mah and I am currently searching for participants who have had experience with composting toilets for my honours thesis research project at the University of Waterloo, about the opportunities and challenges of composting toilets in urban areas. Participation would involve an interview of approximately 1 hour by phone or in person at a convenient location for you. All participation is treated as anonymous unless you give explicit permission to use direct quotations and names.

The project is supervised by Dr. Derek Armitage, and has been approved by the university Office of Research Ethics. Participants who have concerns or questions about their involvement in the project may contact the Chief Ethics Officer, Office of Research Ethics at 519-888-4567, Ext. 36005 or maureen.nummelin@uwaterloo.ca.

If you are interested in participating, please feel free to contact me at jjmah@uwaterloo.ca or (226) 972 2766 for more information. I will be conducting interviews until March 14, 2014. Thank you for your interest, I look forward to hearing from you.
